New York, NY
Located in Tribeca, Victoria Blamey’s first solo restaurant is a reflection of her South American heritage, her work in award winning kitchens around the globe, and her decades-long fine dining background. Her thoughtful menu is deeply personal and champions local and responsible farmers, producers and friends, with a focus on seasonal produce and proteins. The dining room nods to the creative energy of downtown Manhattan by highlighting artists and artisans of various mediums, including photographers, ceramicists, musicians, florists and more.
Our creative direction is directly inspired from the aforementioned mix of influences. The logo typography is influenced by 70's Downtown visuals, while crops and repetition of it form an abstract shape that is reminiscent of Chile's traditional motifs. The heavy use of black and white and a paired-back, typewriter-style typeface chosen for collateral speaks to New York's art scene, while the rich terracotta and ivory tones bring warmth from the chef's origins and focus on hospitality.
