Le Doyenné

Le Doyenné is a conscious and soulful take on France’s destination dining,  centered around regenerative agriculture and generous hospitality. Chefs and owners James Henry and Shaun Kelly have lovingly restored an old barn into a restaurant and guest house, and as of 2022 have been welcoming curious diners from around the world and earning numerous accolades.

Our branding borrows from the codes of the “folio”, traditionally the most noble way to present a writer’s manuscript and a revered format in the worlds of publishing and book making. Far from the industrialized and digitalized, folios are assembled with excellent analog savoir faire and attention to detail. This direction celebrates slow craft, drawing a parallel with what Le Doyenné aims to accomplish.
